A Philippine Air Force (PAF) Airbus C295 aircraft skidded of the Runway during landing and lost the Nose landing gear on the runway of Basco Airport in Batanes on 01 November 2024.
The Airbus C295-R217 was carrying relief goods for those affected by the typhoon.
According to Col. Francel Margareth Padilla, spokesperson of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, no one was hurt in the incident when the front wheel of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) C-295 broke away during their landing around 3 pm.
Col. Maria Consuelo Castillo, spokesperson of PAF, that they are investigating the incident to determine what caused it.
