All the five occupants are safe after a Bell 206B JetRanger helicopter (PT-HKZ, MSN 3156) that was about to take- off crashed around 2:10 pm this Saturday (4 January) on the North Coast of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. Initial information indicated that four occupants were on the aircraft, later corrected to five, and there was only one non fatal injury, after the 1980 built helicopter fell from a height of 4 meters in Penha city. Also, in that incident, a broken piece of the helicopter’s rotor flew about 300 meters away, hitting a vehicle that was parked on the Street, leaving the rear of the car seriously damaged.
