An Atlas Air Boeing 747-400F freighter (N429MC) departing from Incheon International Airport, and heading to Anchorage (ANC), USA, returned to Incheon Airport (ICN) Seoul, due to a hydraulic system abnormality detected immediately after takeoff from Runway 16L on 11th June.

The landing gear and runway lights were damaged during the emergency landing and runway 15R/33L was closed for maintenance.

On 10th June, the same aircraft was diverted to Incheon Airport (ICN) Seoul while operating a flight from Hong Kong (HKG) to Anchorage (ANC).
