Cessna 172 aircraft crashed on train tracks in Los Angles.

The pilot of the crashed Cessna 172 was rescued seconds before the train crashed into the plane.

Just seconds after the pilot is rescued from the plane by LAPD officers, the plane is completely destroyed by the MetroLink train.

No fire broke out as a result of the plane crash and a small fuel leak was brought under control by firefighters.

The pilot, who was injured in the head, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The FAA is investigating the accident.
