Visuals of the passenger door of a single engine aircraft fell in the premises of a Myrtle Beach home in South Carolina, and the aircraft made an emergency landing at Myrtle Beach International Airport.

The Diamond DA40 aircraft took off at 2:53 p.m. on Tuesday before returning back for a safe landing at 3:01 p.m.

Home owner Wendey Hodges shared the pictures in the social media.

Spokesperson for company owning the aircraft : “Shortly after takeoff, one of our aircraft experienced the loss of a cabin door. The crew aboard executed their standard response procedure to return to the field and landed without incident,” “The cabin door was subsequently recovered and will be examined as part of our investigation into this event.”
