Goose attacks Boeing 737 MAX and injures Captain with shattered glass in Toronto Canada last Thursday 21 October, 2024

Flair Airlines flight 641 from to Winnipeg had departed Toronto when the aircraft flew through a flock of geese. One of the geese impacted the windshield causing it to shatter and causing minor injuries to the pilot due to the shattered glass.

The crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet and returned to Toronto for a safe landing about 30 minutes after departure. The Goose was pronounced deceased and the Captain was attended to by first aid officers. The aircraft is also awaiting repairs
