• Airbus A330 (The Butter Machine) & the Boeing 777 (The Seventh Wonder)

Let’s look at their similarities first :

So Firstly, both Aircraft are Wide-Body (2 aisles ranging from 5 – 6 meters in diameter) Double Engined aircraft.

Another and final similarity (that I could think of) between these 2 is both have all the functions an Aircraft needs to function (Hydraulic fluids, Ailerons, Wings, Engines, Flaps etc.)

Now for their differences :

So Firstly, if you look at the rudder of each aircraft you will see the A330’s is smaller compared to the 777, which looks more chiseled.

Another major difference is the Boeing 777 “doesn’t have” winglets, while the A330 does. Although as it may not appear to have winglets, the 777 has something called “Raked Wingtips” let’s like abird extending its elegant wings.

Another difference is on an A330 you will find 4 wheels on the Landing Gears on each landing gear. On the 777 you will find 6 wheels on each

Another difference is their engine types; the 777 uses GE90-115B engines while the A330 uses options of engine types; General Electric CF6-80E1 engines, Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engine, and Rolls-Royce Trent 700 Engines (which the 777 possesses more engine power and thrust).

These 2 different aircraft released 2 years apart (the 777 came out in June 12 1994 while the A330 came out in October 14 1992). One is Airbus, One is Boeing, One was founded in America, One was founded in Europe (no shit)

Their APU’s are shaped differently, the 777 has a sawed shape, while the A330 has a more round shaped APU

Another difference is the 777 has more passenger capacity (can carry to 312 to 388 passengers) while the A330 caries less (can carry around 210 to 250 passengers)
